Information for presenters

Twelve MicroSymposia are scheduled in the Scientific Program. For each of them, a two hours time slot is reserved for oral presentations, plus a poster session of 2 hours. Staff will be present in each conference room for technical support.

Chairpersons of MicroSymposium
Two co-chairpersons are designed to organize each MicroSymposium (MS).
Chairs are asked to invite two keynote speakers, select three oral presentations from the submitted abstracts and assign the rest as posters in the associated poster session. To facilitate attendee transitions between in parallel MS sessions, it’s recommended to schedule two 30-minute keynote lectures and three 20-minute oral presentations with a consistent timetable for all MS sessions.

Speakers
The length of presentations covers time for questions, and speakers are urged to adhere to their assigned time slots to maintain the session schedule.
Plenary talks (60 minutes) are recommended to be 50 minutes plus 10 minutes for discussion. The general speaking time of a lecture is fixed to either of 30 minutes (25 minutes talk plus 5 minutes discussion) for keynote lectures and 20 minutes (15+5) for oral presentations.
Presentations must be uploaded at the Upload desk one day prior to the lecture, at latest until 17:30. There will be assistants at the Upload desk to help you with the file uploading.
Speakers should advise their chairpersons well in advance of any changes or special requests that might occur concerning their presentation.
