Twelve MicroSymposia are scheduled in the Scientific Program. For each of them, a two hours time slot is reserved for oral presentations, plus a poster session of 2 hours. Staff will be present in each conference room for technical support.

Participants wishing to make an oral or poster presentation at the Conference, included plenary speakers and keynote lecturers at MS, are required to submit an abstract.

Chairpersons of Microsymposium
Two co-chairpersons are designed to organize each Microsymposium (MS). Chairs are asked to invite two keynote speakers, select three oral presentations from the submitted abstracts and assign the rest as posters in the associated poster session. To facilitate attendee transitions between in parallel MS sessions, it’s recommended to schedule two 30-minute keynote lectures and three 20-minute oral presentations with a consistent timetable for all MS sessions.

The length of presentations covers time for questions, and speakers are urged to adhere to their assigned time slots to maintain the session schedule.
Plenary talks: 60 minutes (50 min talk plus 10 min for discussion).
Keynote lectures: 30 minutes (25 min talk plus 5 min discussion)
Oral presentations: 20 minutes (15 min talk plus 5 min discussion).
Presentations must be uploaded at the Upload desk one day prior to the lecture, at latest until 17:30. There will be assistants at the Upload desk to help you with the file uploading.
Speakers should advise their chairpersons well in advance of any changes or special requests that might occur concerning their presentation.
The use of one’s own computer is strongly discouraged.

The poster boards of 0,7 m x 1 m will be installed at the ground and first floor of Padova Congress, along with the commercial exhibition and coffee breaks. Appropriate material (patafix) for fixing the posters on poster boards will be provided onsite for your convenience. Please do not use any agressive material of your own which could damage the boards. Each poster should be fixed on the panel identified by a poster number provided in the Poster Timetable.

Two poster sessions will take place during the meeting scheduled at the following times:
Poster Session PS1: Saturday, August 31, 15h30 – 17h30
Poster Session PS2: Sunday, September 01, 15h30 – 17h30

Session PS1 gathers all posters from Microsymposia MS1, MS5, MS8, MS10, MS4, MS3.
Posters from session PS1 can be installed starting Saturday morning after the coffee break and will have to be removed at the end of the session or before the coffee break of Sunday morning.

Session PS2 gathers all posters from Microsymposia MS6, MS9, MS2, MS12, MS7, MS11.
Posters from session PS2 can be installed starting Sunday morning after the coffee break and will have to be removed at the end of the session or before the coffee break of Monday morning.
